Activists in Local Elections: A Green Alternative for Syracuse

Hosted by International Socialist Organization-Syracuse and Green Party of Onondaga County

Our vibrant city has been dulled by pollution, with corporations and politicians placing profit before human need time and time again. Our water is unsafe to drink, and more Syracuse children are poisoned by lead each year. Many lack access to quality education, proper housing, or a secure income. Racist discrimination makes all of this worse for people of color.

Yet the politicians of the two corporate parties offer no solutions to these crises.

Come meet your local Green Party activists who have been fighting for change and are running for city government. Bring your questions and lend an ear to the solutions they propose.

As a political party we work to establish political action based on cooperation, rather than exploitation, on conservation rather than consumption, and on sustainability rather than short-term gain. We believe in an alternative, independent politics.
