TPP Tuesdays Call-In to Congress 2/10/15

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a big, undemocratic trade agreement being negotiated in secret that would expand the power corporations hold over economies around the world.

To stop the TPP, we must first stop "Fast Track," a Congressional maneuver that would allow President Obama to circumvent the democratic process of debating the details of the TPP and put the trade agreement to an "yes" or "no" vote in Congress.

Please contact Representative John Katko (representing the 24th Congressional district which encompasses Onondaga, Cayuga, Oswego and Wayne Counties) and ask him to vote "No" on Fast Track for the Trans Pacific Partnership and all over trade agreements.

1) Dial (202) 225-3701 to reach Rep. John Katko's Washington D.C. office (Here are the D.C. offices numbers for New York's delegation:

2) Let them know that you are a constituent, give your name and what town you are calling from.

3) Leave the following message (or your own variation):

"I'm a constituent that would like Rep. Katko to vote "no" on any legislation that would give President Obama "Fast Track" authority for the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Fast Tracking the TPP is undemocratic and Congress needs to debate and amend trade agreements that affect all of us."
